Classes

My classes are dynamic, alignment focused and heart-centred.

Cassandra offers a range of different class types as follows:

 

Open Hatha

This class is the perfect blend of dynamic strength building and relaxation.

In each class we build towards a peak pose, warming up the body in preparation and always end with cooling, calming and restoring poses to bring the body back to balance.

The sequencing is well considered and appropriate for all levels of experience.

 

Gentle Yoga

This class is less strenuous than others, yet still supports students to build strength and flexibility.

Equipment, such as chairs, blocks and bolsters, are used to promote improved alignment. Calming breath work is emphasised throughout, and class concludes with a nurturing meditation.

All ability levels are welcome in this safe, effective and slower paced class.

Please have a mat, blocks, belt and dining chair ready for this online class.

 

Restorative and Meditation

Restorative Yoga is open to students of all abilities and experience. Gently guided away from the pace and demands of daily life, students are supported to enter a state of quiet mindfulness through the use of yoga props and deep breathing.

Slower movements calmly cultivate space for a deeper experience of yoga poses and breath, quietening the nervous system and bringing comfort at the end of the week.

Blankets, bolsters, blocks and belts are required for this class.
