Gentle Yoga

Earth and Sky’s Gentle Yoga class is perfect for students who are: recovering from injury, illness or surgery; those who simply prefer a less intense pace; and students who wish to begin their yoga journey gently.

This class is less strenuous than others, yet still supports students to build strength and flexibility, at a more leisurely pace. Equipment, such as chairs, blocks and bolsters, is used to promote improved alignment. Calming breath work is emphasised throughout, and class concludes with a nurturing meditation. To facilitate a teaching environment where individual student needs may be given greater support, Gentle Hatha class sizes are smaller.

All ability levels are welcome in this safe, effective, non-competitive and compassionate environment.
