Earth and Sky Yoga Studio offer a range of classes including Beginners, Hatha, Yoga for Backcare, Restorative, Prenatal, and Yoga for Mums and Bubs.
Earth and Sky Yoga Studio Marrickville offers a friendly and supportive environment for beginners new to yoga.
Our small class sizes, highly trained teachers and carefully structured classes are the perfect combination for learning and developing your yoga practice.
All of our beginners classes are designed for those who wish to learn yoga or who have not been near the yoga mat for sometime!
We offer both Hatha Beginners which includes poses which are held for a period of time as a way to engage with supportive alignment and Flow Beginners in which there is more movement and flow.
At Earth and Sky we welcome all ages and abilities and have students from 18 to 75 years!
The poses taught in these classes provide the basic foundations and are delivered in a slow and steady pace making the classes accessible to all levels of student. With slightly longer classes than usually offered at other studios or gyms (all our essentials classes are 1hr 15 minutes) you are guaranteed to receive a full spectrum class and plenty of time for rest and meditation leaving you feeling renewed and refreshed.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can’t do yoga, I’m not flexible!
Great! Flexibility is one of the benefits of a regular yoga practice, not a requirement for starting classes. We welcome folks with all levels of physical ability.
What do I wear and bring?
Plan to do yoga barefoot and in clothes that are not overly baggy but comfortable enough so that you can freely move. All yoga equipment is provided. Just bring yourself and your willingness. Bags, mobile phones and water bottles can all be left in the reception area and are not to be brought into the practice area.
Do classes start on time?
Yes, please arrive 5 minutes before the start of class and 10 minutes before your first class.
Can I eat before class?
It’s a good idea not to eat anything too heavy 2 hours prior to practice.
Do I need to call or book before my first class?
Remember our studio is a boutique studio with limited numbers in classes - booking online is preferred to secure your place in the class.
Pregnant students are welcome in the pre-natal class on Thursdays 6.00pm and Saturdays 11.45am. Pregnant students may begin these classes at anytime during pregnancy. Regular weekly practice is recommended to gain the benefits of yoga at this special time.

Our restorative yoga classes are an excellent way to disconnect from the frenetic activity of daily life and prepare the mind and body for the inward experience of meditation.
Our Prenatal Yoga classes are specifically tailored to support expectant mothers at any stage of pregnancy.
In class we use a multifaceted approach to exercise which involves yoga postures, focused breathing, and mental centring to help ease the aches and pains of pregnancy and prepare mentally and physically for birth.
Yoga for Mums and Bubs
Mums & Bubs Yoga is a wonderful way to look after yourself after birth.
Baby also gets the benefits of yoga with rhythmic movement and massage accompanied by songs and rhymes. Ideal for the ages 6 Weeks to pre-crawler.
